» 🏫Stuyvesant Open House🏫

Location:  Stuyvesant High School, Manhattan

Stuyvesant will be having its Spring Open House! The kids visiting this time will be incoming freshmen (do you remember when we were that young?) This event is for Juniors and Seniors only! You will be giving tours, answering questions, and helping out with crowd control. Food will be provided in the form of 🍕!

» 🌈Color Wars V.2🌈

Location:  Riverbank State Park, Manhattan

We’re back with another COLOR WARS that was carefully adjusted to make sure all the bad things won’t happen again! This time, you can look forward to more fun activities such as scavenger hunts, balloon fights, etc. There will be GOOD food and GREAT prizes! Price: $10 for normal admission, $7 if you bring food.

» 🗣PS 124 PTC Translation🗣

We’ll be helping out at one of PS 124’s parent teacher conferences. Volunteers will be acting as translators and helping out with any other necessary tasks. You know those people who walk around in red shirts during Stuy’s PTC? That’s going to be us! :)

» Parent Teacher Conferences

We’ll be helping out teachers at PTC! All students should have received an email regarding volunteer registration for PTC in their emails. Upon logging in, you should indicate that you are part of Key Club under “Your Information” in order to receive hours. If you’re planning on helping out a specific teacher, you should request them on the website.

Volunteers will help distribute pizza. Volunteers should make sure people don’t take more than one slice of pizza.

» ☘️St.Paddy’s 7k☘️

Location:  Firefighters Field - Roosevelt Island, Manhattan

Volunteers will be helping out as cheerers, marshals, and water station managers! This event benefits Special Olympics New York and you will get a free t-shirt if you volunteer!

» 🗻MS Climb to the Top🗻

Date:  Sun, March 4, 2018 (5 AM - 11 AM)
Location:  30 Rockefeller Center, Manhattan

Volunteers will be assisting with bag check-in, marshaling, etc! Depending on the situation, you might also become a cheerer! You get to cheer on the participants as they make their trek up the many stairs of Rockefeller Center. You will also most likely get to go to the top (for free!) at the end of everything and enjoy the amazing view!

Location:  Sara D. Roosevelt Park, Manhattan

Celebrate the Year of the Dog with the 19th Annual Lunar New Year Parade hosted by Better Chinatown. In order to make one of the biggest Lunar New Year Festivities a success, they need all the help they can get! You also get to meet Key Clubbers from all over the division!** SAME DAY AS CHINATOWN KIWANIS LNY PARADE**

» 🎉Chinatown Kiwanis LNY Parade🎉

Date:  Sun, February 25, 2018 (10:30 AM - TBD)
Location:  Corner of Hester and Mott Street, Manhattan

Volunteers will be walking around with Chinatown Kiwanis in the annual Lunar New Year Parade. You’ll be a part of the parade! Similar to a walk, you will be representing Chinatown Kiwanis and Stuyvesant Key Club all while celebrating the New Year! Key Clubbers who were part of the event last year should bring their Kiwanis caps. And preferably all volunteers should wear your Key Club shirt!

» 🦁Helping Lion Dancers for Lunar New Year🦁

Location:  211 Canal Street, Manhattan

We’ll be helping out a group of lion dancers as they travel around Chinatown! Volunteers will be flag bearers/runners and will ultimately make sure that everything runs as smoothly as possible. Bonus: you might get red envelopes :) and extra hours will be awarded by the organization CAPPED AT 15
