» 🏔Endurance Challenge Series🏔

Date:  Sat, May 13, 2017 (6 AM - 12 PM)
Location:  Bear Mountain, Manhattan

We will be helping with North Face Endurance Challenge in May! The volunteer positions would including helping by handing out water and food to runners as well as at the festival with running booths and handing out information to participants. Volunteer should be 16 or older! Everyone will get a North Face tech shirt and catered lunch. Please sign up asap in order to guarantee a spot for this event! Please choose Aid Station Volunteer and morning -2pm shift for Saturday/morning-11am shift for Sunday on their form!

» 🍩Donut Dash🍩

Date:  Sun, May 7, 2017 (7 AM - 12 PM)
Location:  Pier 62 Hudson River Greenway, Manhattan

We will be helping ASH at their donut-themed 5k. Volunteers will be setting up, registering participants, cheering runners/donut-eaters, doing crowd control, etc.

» 👶March of Dimes👶

Location:  Lincoln Center Area, Manhattan

Come walk at the March for Babies with us this year! Every day, thousands of babies are born prematurely and often very sick. We’re walking to raise money to support March of Dimes research and programs that help moms have full-term pregnancies and babies begin healthy lives.

» CORE SYI Conference

Date:  Sat, April 29, 2017 (TBD)
Location:  Columbia University, Manhattan

The conference will open with brunch and a morning panel of student entrepreneurs. Students will then select one of the three social entrepreneurship tracks - sustainable development, education, and women in leadership. In these sessions, students will work with their peers and mentors from Columbia University, NYC office, and company sponsors to explore solutions toward issues affecting our society today. The conference will conclude with our closing keynote speaker and presentations by the students. This conference will be free of cost, and students of all backgrounds and interests are welcome to apply. Everyone who signs up can go! The deadline is Friday, April 14th so sign up quickly!

» 🚴Tour de Staten Island🚴

Date:  Sun, April 23, 2017 (10 AM - 2:30 PM)
Location:  Great Kills Park Beach Center, Staten Island

We will be helping Tour de Staten Island at their rest stops! Volunteers will be distributing water liquids to runners and cyclists! Since the event is in Staten Island, transportation will be provided to and from Stuy! This event is cap at 15 so please sign up asap if you want to volunteer for this event!

» 🌎Earth Day🌎

Date:  Sat, April 22, 2017 (10 AM - 2 PM)
Location:  Far Rockaways, Manhattan

The fifth anniversary of Hurricane Sandy will be commemorated with a day of coastal restoration! We’ll be working with Stuyvesant Environmental Club with activities such as planting beach grass and bayberry, as well as a beach cleanup. Water and all tools will be provided.

» 🌎Chinatown Earth Day🌎

Date:  Sat, April 22, 2017 (11 AM - 4 PM)
Location:  Kimlau Square Park Row, Manhattan

We’ll be helping Chinatown BID and CPLDC at their Earth Day events. Volunteers will be planting, street cleaning, and graffiti removal. Gloves will be provided, be sure to wear clothes that they wouldn’t mind getting dirty.

» 🐰Easter Eggstravaganza🐰

Date:  Sat, April 15, 2017 (12 PM - 3 PM)
Location:  Target East Harlem Community Garden, Manhattan

NYSoM is hosting its annual Easter event in East Harlem. The event will have lots of fun activities such as Egg Hunt, Painting Contest, and more! So come help out! We’ll be helping with set up and clean up, as well as participating during the event!

» 📈Walk for Kid's Growth📈

Location:  Flushing Meadows Park, Queens

We will be helping with Walk for Kid’s growth in Queens. Volunteers will be helping out at the booths and doing crowd control.

» 🏃Concern Worldwide Spring Run💨

Date:  Sat, April 8, 2017 (7 AM - 11 AM)
Location:  Central Park, Manhattan

We will be helping with Concern Spring Run in Central Park! In this run, runners support the fight against extreme poverty will be providing disadvantaged families with food, water, health care, and other resources. Volunteers will be cheering on the runners, handing out water, or recording runner’s time.
